Tokens of Appreciation

Everyone loves to be appreciated and rewarded for their job, however small it is. In classrooms, sometimes it has to go beyond a pat on the shoulder or a smile. A teacher can give small gifts to encourage the students' works and motivate them . I have also explored through Microsoft Office tools, where I have found something really interesting. It is called Publisher. And now I design my own certificates for the achievers in my class. I have found that a certificate always gives the student a positive and proud feeling of an achiever. Just go to Office 2007 tools, click on to Publisher and choose your template to create certificates or cards to gift to your learners. Use your vocabulary and creativity to make a special gift to your learners..  I can still see their beaming faces, as they received them.

Wow!what an awesome idea. As always the English Department is hosting a lot of variety programs. I still remember the Mock Interviews conducted by you after the class hours to improve our communication skills. That was indeed very memorable. Why were all these not there when we were at school? :( I still have got that plastic medal which i got from swamiji when i got the 2 nd rank for some periodicals. :)That cermonies however didnt last long. That was the only time when a medal was awarded to students. That had to be given back since it was a roling medal. But i still have it with me. Didnt want to give it back. :)
